Concorde 3.5L

i have a 1993 Concorde and it keeps downshifting into second gear at forty miles an hour and gets stuck have to then pull over turn off the motor then restart the engine so the transmission will shift again it only does it when the car is warmed up does anyone know how to fix the problem
