Concorde

We have owned only Chrysler products for the last twenty-five years, Cars, trucks, mini-vans, and jeeps. We had no major problems.

We bought the 98 concord, used, for a second car. It had just under 50k mi. The connecting rod bearings failed causing excessive knocking and loss of oil pressure, leading to top end noise as well.

The cost of repair is outside the relm of possibility for us. So we have a nice looking Chrysler that will not run and we can't afford to repair. Has Chrysler dependability gone down the toilet or is this just a fluke that will be recalled?
