I was parking on a parking lot and lot had a structured small post on the driver side; due to visibility that the vehicle lamp omitted to light properly, I damaged the front right corner bumper. I have noticed that the corner lamp assemblies have a problem with the reflectors. This lamp doesn't have the required amber side reflectors don't work well cause I can barely see (not like my other cars). There is a recall set already for part number CS114-U0bj2 which is a combination corner and lamp assembly for this vehicle. I am asked to contact sabersport who is doing the recall (recall id#09E012000 exterior lighting); however, their number is disconnected and their online contact number is a wrong number. At this point, I don't think its right that I have to pay for these repairs. Even upon repairs, I need the vehicle with correct lamp assembly so it doesn't happen again. Next time, could be a worse accident. [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

: the consumer stated the brake pedal must be pressed down too far to stop the vehicle. The vehicle has been to the dealership and multiple independent repair shops, but there was no repair available. The manufacturer determined this is how the vehicle was made. Also, the headlight gasket continuously falls out but no repair is available. Updated 03/28/06.

The headlights on my 1999 Chrysler concord have become foggy and discolored to the point that the lights appear dim in the evening. This appears to be somewhat hazardous as visibility in night driving is necessary. Chrysler says that there is no warranty for the headlights. Cost to replace them is probably in the neighborhood of $700. I have heard this is a common problem. I have had many problems with this vehicle and I realize I bought it used but I feel that these headlights were defective from the beginning.
