I was stopped at a traffic light and I was rear-ended by a large SUV. My driver-side seatbelt un-snapped at moment of impact..my wife was in the passenger seat her belt was fine..the car was damaged and everybody was ok...but was curious why the seatbelt un-snapped..

The consumer stated while driving, the transmission began to slip. The transmission stayed in 2 or 3rd gear. The driver's seat belt was inoperative. The oxygen sensor failed prematurely. The fuel lines leaked. The power door locks failed. The radio/cassette player failed. The power mirrors failed. The remote keyless entry system failed. The power windows and seats failed. The alarm was inoperative. Trunk release was inoperative.

When the vehicle was hit at 45 mph in the front center, the air bags did not deploy. Dealer notified. A semi truck pulled out in front of the consumer. The air bags and seat belts were on but the consumer had gone over the steering wheel and injured herself. (the consumers daughter was ejected out her seat as well)
