Consumer's wife worked at a place where she parked by concrete posts. When she was backing out of parking space, the seat back malfunctioned, causing her to hit the side mirror. Consumer checked vehicle when wife got home and seat seemed to be locked in place. Today consumer was traveling on a dirt road when the back of the seat collapsed. The consumer ran up onto the berm that was along the side of the road. Consumer took vehicle to dealer, and dealer would not look at vehicle without charging $94. Seat will not stay in place. If one touches the seat with any pressure the back seat will fall. Consumer is worried that the seat might fail on the highway while doing high speed. When the seat goes up and down consumer can hear a noise. Consumer says he will not drive on highway because of concern for what might happen.
