PT Cruiser Limited

  • Automatic transmission
  • 80,000 miles

This problem really sucks, the radio led goes out and the horn won't work, then you have to bang on the steering wheel and get it to work hoping the air bag doesn't go off. Then you have the problem of the blinkers not working or working when they want to. Also now I am having the problem of the alarm going off when it feels like it. WHAT IS THE DEAL?????? Has any one found out what the problem is and how do you fix it??? I found a recall on the electrical cluster under the dash, but don't know if we can still use it or not. If I find out anything I will post. Thanks

PT Cruiser 2.4L

The radio LED and horn are malfunctioning. I have had 3 different Car Dealers look at the car and no one can figure out what is wrong with it. It is pissing me off..

PT Cruiser Touring 4-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 80,000 miles

Whenever the radio LED goes dark, the horn won't work. This is a really weird problem that had our mechanic and the dealership scratching their heads. It occurs randomly, and the dealer could not make it fail during the 2 days they had it. The only real concern is that the horn might be unavailable when it's needed.
