PT Cruiser Touring

  • Manual transmission
  • 58,000 miles

I would like to know how many times this issue has surfaced with PT Cruiser owners. I can understand engine maintenance but for a vehicle with only 58k miles to need the bearings replaced is preposterous! I would like to initiate a recall for this problem.

problem #1

PT Cruiser GT Turbo

  • Manual transmission
  • 32,100 miles

My front passenger wheel bearings are worn out for the 2nd time! Last time it cost me $434 and my car only had 21,900 miles. Now it's at 32,100 & two years later and the wheel bearings on the same front passenger tire are worn out again. First time I think possible faulty part, now it happens again, I think the worn out part is the symptom not the problem. Something must be causing it to wear out prematurely. I haven't fixed it yet, as I'm trying to figure out the root cause before I drop the cash again :-(
