PT Cruiser 2.4L 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 41,000 miles

Okay this is crap, low miles, taken care of, and still breaks down. It happened on the family trip home the compressor goes out. No noise, just went out while I was driving. Checked everything , and even bought a new compressor, and still not working. No one can tell me anything. I have received more answers from a PT forum imin than from an actual Chrysler mechanic. My advice, stay away from Chrysler as a whole, their support, service and cars aren't worth crap. Sorry but it is the truth, never will I buy a Chrysler again!!! I still have no AC because my compressor is not coming on..WTF!!!

PT Cruiser Sedan 2.4L

  • Manual transmission
  • 30,000 miles

I would not recommend buying a Chrysler PT Cruiser at all!! I bought the car used with only 27,000 miles on it, and at 30,000 miles the a/c stopped working. In talking to other PT owners, I have found that this is very common is PTs as well as Chrysler in general. I am so disgusted with my PT. A car with that low mileage should not have any problems. This was my first American car and it will be my last!!!!!!!
