Hard to believe this would happen to a vehicle without the Maker taking care of it. Everyone in the shop were horrified to see this amount of rust. I've been a loyal Mopar owner but this might push me to an import(thought Chrysler is now owned by an Italian Maker) I may buy a mazda or toyota next. I hope that I am not forced to pay for the remedy . I also hope my engine doesn't fall out while driving!!!!!!

I went to the NY State inspection, after few minutes called to see why my car did not pass the inspection, we see all front engine cradle rusted with metal peeling off on touch, there were two big holes and it is noted like dangerous to drive. Called Chrysler and was told that there was a recall but just for models 2004 that were made in something like a two week period when they had some problems. My model is two years newer and it looks like they have the same problem like models for whom they made recall.

My service guys mentioned during routine oil change that the front frame of the Pacifica 06 is beginning to rust and so are areas along the side. My investigation on this website has found that I am not alone in this matter. Don't know what to do and why is this happening to this model?
