problem #5

Jan 032017

Pacifica 4.0L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 140,000 miles

One motor was ripped around inside perimeter. The other was damaged as well. The engine still jumps which is the worst problem. It happens when you jump on the accelerator and the engine jumps to the right as well pulling the car and steering wheel to the right.

Pacifica Touring 4.0L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 46,386 miles

The transmission shifts very aggressively and the motor mounts should not need replacement this early in life of car. I will report separate complaint about transmission.

Pacifica LX 4.0L 6 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 144,000 miles

From my last complaint I mentioned the bad tire off the lot when I was told it was fixed, then the remote tail gate did not work. The motor mounts had to be replaced and the fuel pump was replaced. This was in a 6 month time frame. The battery was checked recently and was told it was fine, but had the car jumped 3 times because of bad cables and terminals. Had it towed this morning to replace battery. Never again buy a Chrysler.

Update from Feb 19, 2015: motor mounts were at 144,000 miles and fuel pump at 145,000 miles. oops

Pacifica Touring 4.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 35,000 miles

If I have to pay for one more broken motor mount I'm going to blow a gasket... and I don't mean on the car. I've owned this car since the end of 2007 and I've probably replaced the motor mounts 4 times.. I'm done!
