The contact owns a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated that the driver-€™s side headlight failed to operate as needed. The local dealer was contacted and provided an estimate for the repair. Due to the cost of the repair, the manufacturer was notified of the failure however, offered no assistance since there was no recall on the vehicle. The contact eventually took the vehicle to an independent mechanic who was unable to repair the headlight and referred him to the NHTSA for assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 122,000.
