While traveling for holidays, the CEL came on. We stopped at an auto shop to confirm the error code, before driving the car back home, to ensure safety. Error code P0E15-00 "Hybrid/EV Battery Pack Coolant Heater "A" Control Performance" was the issue. This will be the 3rd-4th time that we have had an issue with the Hybrid system on this vehicle. Thankfully, we purchased an extended warranty. However, we're sure that we are not the only ones experiencing so many problems with this and the Hybrid system should be recognized as being faulty.

We began having major issues with our van in October 2022. There were numerous incidents of loss of power and sudden increase in temperature gage. We kept fluids checked. Kept oil changed on time. We reported this to the dealership multiple times before they agreed to fix under warranty. Even after fixing factory recall (which we were charged for by the dealership) and then replacing batteries, we continued having issues with loss of power and surge in temperature gage. July 8th of 2023 engine light came on and temperature gage shot up, van stalled at the intersection. I had My self and FIVE kids in the car. This was accompanied by a sudden loss of fluids. We had the van taken to another repair shop who then told us the head gasket was blown. This happened just 4 miles after our warranty lapsed. We had to have the entire motor replaced out of pocket. More than $8,000 in repair costs so far and the van I still making noises and not driving correctly.

Our engine has stalled while driving the vehicle at least four times since July 1. The engine begins to shudder, and the car will not accelerate, and then the engine completely dies. After it happened today, it was not possible to restart the engine or put it in gear. My and my family's safety was put at risk because the vehicle was inoperable. Three times this happened on major interstates with traffic moving at high speeds. I had to move my children and their car seats into another vehicle while traffic passed. We have had the vehicle in for service at least three times, at least twice at Chrysler dealers. The problem has not been reproduced (yet) but this latest time it completely disabled the vehicle so expect they will see more of the problem now. After the engine cuts out, we get an electrical warning light that flashes briefly, plus a check engine light, and a message that instructs to move the gear shift to P to start the vehicle and another that warns that the Start/Stop system needs service. We have had these all serviced, the fuel pump and battery replaced, and have been told the problem is resolved and yet it keeps happening.

Cylinder head inside the engine has a Crack with antifreeze leaking into the engine. I had been driving the car prior to being able to make an appointment at the dealership. Luckily there was not a crash due to this.

The transmission shifts hard when traveling around 14 mph then will jerk (like being rear ended), slows down then accelerates on its own. I'm afraid it will cause an accident. Chrysler said it is supposed to work like that and nothing is wrong with it. I have had 3 diagnostic tests done it and it shows nothing is wrong.

I have been contacted multiple times by dealerships and Chrysler that my vehicle needs the Z11 (NHTSA 22V-077) recall performed and that it is urgent for me and my family's safety. I have been trying to get the Z11 recall performed since February 2023. I have contacted 3 local dealerships to do the job but scheduling was difficult and there is no loaner cars available. The first dealer (Autonation CDJR of Katy Texas) who has done all my previous recalls just wanted me to bring the car in to sit for 3 days while not performing the recall. The second was inexperienced and unqualified. After a week delay, I took my car into the third dealer (Big Star Dodge in Webster Texas) on 3/13/2023, but after two days they told me they were having trouble with equipment and gave me the vehicle back on 3/15/2023. They rescheduled for 3/27/2023 and I took it in again. The first attempt to perform the recall procedure failed as a mistake was made. The recall procedure should take 2 days but it has been there for a week. The recall procedure was written poorly by Chrysler/FCA/Stellantis and confuses the technicians so the test is not performed as it should be and has to be repeated multiple times. The extra manipulation and time at the dealership increases the probability that my vehicle will be messed up or damaged. Chrysler/FCA/Stellantis bears the responsibility for the delays and poor performance of the recall causing the unnecessary loss of my vehicle's use and delays the recall performance, increasing my risk described by the recall. Performance of the recall has not been timely or done correctly yet.

The end of 2021, Began not starting requiring many pushed of the start stop button; stalling when in motion on roads; gas pedal tight not depressing, engine light on and off, side auto doors often wouldn-€™t work automatically (battery new); was lurching and chugging randomly, over time very frequently. Nov 22-€™ had start stop battery replaced & fuel pump sensor. still lurched etc..worsened..late 2022 began frequently stalling, not starting, pedal would be stiff, lurched daily, stalled frequently during motion & upon first acceleration..start, try to go..stall out..finally jan 5, 2023, wouldn-€™t even turn over-just clicked-shop diagnosis said few codes referred to electrical panel issues.. replaced spark plugs, starter, got home, next morning, same thing ~no turnover. problem not solved. another shop, where it sits today-found cracked engine block($12,000 estimate to -€œattempt-€ replacing engine). deemed total loss as value of van is less. This has to be a defect gone undetected for some time, having built up damage over these last couple years. Many of issues are identical to recall (2019-2022) listed problems. Regardless of any recall being labeled as inactive, this vehicle is clearly a result of manufacturing issues. A 2018 doesn-€™t just have these problems when it-€™s cared for.We have four children & currently have no mode of transportation~two shops since January 6, -€˜23, prior year of worsening symptoms. A safe, reliable vehicle is vital for our family-€™s functioning. It-€™s now at Lee-€™s Auto-seen in picture. Excel Auto was first repair attempt Jan.6. We will not be reimbursed by insurance for -€œmechanical failure.-€ Our loan is $18,000 outstanding. We pay $459.65 each month, and are responsible for remaining balance. Why should this happen to us. We certainly can-€™t purchase a second vehicle in conjunction with this loan. Your quick action and assistance is appreciated and direly needed.

The dealership failed to correctly implement the Z11 recall after I informed them that I had doubts that the recall was performed properly. The first time that the recall was attempted, they returned the vehicle with 0% charge on the batteries. This indicated that they did not fully perform the recall per the instruction. The second time they attempted the recall, they were not able to charge the vehicle. When they informed me that the vehicle was ready I was skeptical that the recall was fully performed since the amount of time between the failure to charge and it being ready was far too short to perform the recall properly. Today I was informed by Chrysler that the recall was indeed improperly performed. Chrysler put my family and home at risk through their ineptitude and carelessness when performing their own recall.

I was driving on the highway when the check engine light came on and it started running rough. I pulled off the highway and into a parking lot. When I slowed down, I heard a clanging that sounded like metal on metal. After parking, smoke started pouring out from under the hood and it erupted in flames. The vehicle was destroyed.

Car engine has stalled a dozen times or so. On one occasion it stalled and would not restart, had to tow to a dealer to repair it and it ended up costing $2700. And when it doesn-€™t stall on the road the engine constantly has weird acceleration dips where it almost stalls. This has been a constant problem for me and I purchased the vehicle used with 39000 miles on it. Which is not much mileage so I was not expecting this many problems.

While driving an a well paved road, I received a check hybrid system alert on my dashboard. Then several lights bean to flash including the blind spot alerts on the side view mirrors and several other alert system. Adaptive cruise control and lane change failure alerts also went off. I was only two miles from home and managed to get back. The engine did not cut out. The next morning, it started up but just a few miles into testing it out, the same alerts and light appeared, but this time the engine died along with the power steering. I coasted to roadside, turned off the car, and waited for 5 to 10 minutes. I started it up and drove it home. The engine remained on but the lights and warning continued to flash. The emergency lights also cut out periodically. I managed to drive the car to a Chrysler dealership I've visited in the past. The diagnostic alert on the Mopar app said there was a problem with the Electronic Throttle control (ETC) and the service person that looked over the diagnostic saw several system failure and alerts when he viewed the diagnostic record. At this point, the dealership has had my car for the week and the problems persist and now it won't go into gear. They still cannot determine the source of the problem. I contacted the Chrysler support line to ask them to escalate the problem. There is an open recall on this vehicle, but the parts are still not available to fix it. It only has 101,000 miles on it. I've found several complaints from Pacifica Hybrid owners related to the same ETC alert.

2018 Pacifica Wheelchair Accessible Van has on several occasions without warning, decelerated and stalled. Displays Place into Park and restart. Van starts sputtering & decelerates. After pulling over, waiting a few minutes it does start again. We've had the van over a year without any issues until now. We did have it at a dealership for a week. They were unable to find anything wrong with it. Very frustrating as we use this van to transport our disabled daughter. Recently we received notice of Class Action Lawsuit for this problem. Doesn't help me right now.

There are multiple things but here are a few i thought my wife was crazy until i started to drive it. 1. The steering feels like it gets stuck its not Major but it is a slight tug and it does it at random. 2. The trunk opens own its own (it has done this 2 times while i was driving) my wife says it has happened to her 1 other time as well. 3. The sliding doors will open and close on freely like something is caught in the track however the tracks are clean and it will bounce open close. 4. The Gas pedal sticks not engaged but when you press the gas nothing will happen then all of the sudden the RPMs will skyrocket 5. Cruise control works great if your on a flat road but if you get on a slight hill your either getting all the RPMs or it turns it off 6. The Auto Stop start thing stopped working and the light stays on but that's fine I didn't like the stop start thing anyway. 7. I did change a battery and it helped with the dash lights not looking like a Christmas program 8. the AC went out after the car had one of the RPM fits then the AC stopped. how does that make sense 9. overall i think the car is having some type of electrical issue or it has a mind of its own. Ive gone to mechanics and they all just do the same shoulder shrug. i have a appointment with a dealership but they are so back logged its disappointing.

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request" -- The car charging port caught fire AFTER the recall notice and after they stated the repairs had been made. The charging port and car charger fused together after the fire and both are not working now. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? -- The fire could have caused major damage, but it was parked outside so nobody was hurt. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? -- No. The dealer is trying to avoid responsibility and claims the problem was with my home charger instead of their vehicle, but the home charger I use has been used in multiple other vehicles without issue. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? -- Yes. I took it in to Chrysler - they did not look at my charger and are claiming its not their problem. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear" -- Yes. Ever since the first recall notice for the charging port, after i took the car in, the "check Engine" light has been lit and won't turn off.

The car 12v battery drains completely, rendering the vehicle immobile and completely non functional. There has been an electrical burning smell once the car is jump started and driving. I fear there is some kind of short or electrical discharge somewhere that could render the vehicle inoperable or start a fire at my home or while the car is being used. This vehicle has been at the dealer for 7 weeks and they have not found the problem. I have been told that the car has been connected to a computer system that is being "looked into" remotely by Chrysler. They have replaced the battery and the charging management system at my expense. The problems started when the car had 38000 miles and began with the "radio" which controls many other functions of the car constantly rebooting and having corrupted firmware which I was told cannot be fixed, only replaced. I have since been told this unit cannot be ordered at this time.

This is the third and fourth time we have had this issue with our van. The previous two times were on May 25, 2019 and June 4, 2021. In this incident, my wife was driving our van with our two kids and I down Northwest Highway in Arlington Heights, IL. We were going about 35 miles per hour when several alarms and warnings appeared on the driver-€™s dashboard including 'SERVICE HYBRID SYSTEM', a red wrench with a red lightning bolt through it, the orange engine warning light, and red battery warning icon, and a message appeared saying 'SHIFT VEHICLE TO PARK'. (See attached photos.) When my wife pressed the accelerator pedal nothing happened. We were able to coast and turn down a side street. We put the vehicle in park, turned it off and we-€™re able to restart it. We immediately notified the dealership and drove it there. On the way to the dealership, we made a stop. When in a parking lot, my wife pressed the accelerator to drive and the same issue happened with the same warning lights and alarms. Once again, we shifted to park, turned the vehicle off and we-€™re able to restart it. We drove straight to the dealership, informed them of the repeated issue and left the van with them. The dealership indicated there were over twenty software updates. We were told the exact same thing on June 4th the last time this happened. They have not yet been able to tell us why this has happened or continues to happen. The problem has not been reproduced by the dealership but this is the third time this has happened. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer.

This is the second time we have had this issue with our van. The first time was May 25, 2019. On June 4, 2021, my wife was driving down the highway with our two kids and as she began to exit toward the off ramp, several alarms and warning appeared on the driver-€™s dashboard including 'SERVICE HYBRID SYSTEM', a red wrench with a lightning bolt through it, the orange engine warning light, and a message appeared saying 'SHIFT VEHICLE TO PARK'. The van stalled and when my wife pressed the accelerator, nothing happened. She was able to coast down the exit ramp and pull over to the shoulder. The van was out in park, shut off and we were able to restart it. The orange engine warning light remained on. We immediately drove to the dealership. They ran a diagnostic test and said no issues came up but there were twenty some software updates. The issue has not been reproduced by the dealer but we have had it happen two times. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer.

We purchased the vehicle new from an out-of-state dealership (Ewald Chrysler Jeep Dodge LLC in Franklin, WI) in November 2019. Since that purchase, we have suffered four (4) failure events in which the vehicle completely loses power while driving, having experienced the first failure event just 10 months after purchase at approximately 15,000 miles. In each instance, the vehicle will, without warning and while in motion, power off and cease to move under its own power, illuminate a check engine light (CEL), and display a -€˜Shift to P to Start-€™ message on the console. In every instance, the complete loss of driveability has required immediate and urgent action to move our vehicle out of lanes of travel and onto the shoulder. In all but one instance, the vehicle fails to restart without significant intervention (e.g., towing to the dealership) and has left our family stranded. To facilitate repairs, we have shared CEL event logging, a video, and photos with the below-listed dealerships. To date, the dealership states that they are unsure as to the cause of the failures and can not find any obvious issue requiring repair beyond the P0C0E code that is stored in the vehicle's ECM. Our vehicle has been in for repair on the following dates for this recurrent failure: August 3, 2020 (15,900 mi): died while driving, serviced at Larry Miller Chrysler Jeep Avondale August 7, 2020 (15,978 mi): died while driving, serviced at Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep June 30, 2021 (33,863): died while driving, serviced at Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep July 3, 2021 (34,300): died while driving, serviced at Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep
