Check Engine Sign On -

§ P0335 Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit § P0335 Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit § P0335 Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit § P1AC7 Crankshaft Position Signal Sensor Performance

With Check Engine sign-on when running on Gas and I am experiencing following issues with the Vehicle

§ Vehicle has Rough Idling § Vehicle has hard shut down § Poor Acceleration § Engine shakes or runs rough § Decrease in MPG/fuel economy, I had 50+mpg and dropped to 31mpg § Engine appears to be overheating - cooling fan running quite loud and you can hear the fan for good amount of time after vehicle is shut down.

At one point, I have noticed while the vehicle was sitting idle Vehicle battery started recharging and in about 40 mins the charge went from 0% to 25%. After stopping and restarting the engine the charge drained while the vehicle was running idle. There has been quite few instances when engine would rung quite rough when idle and hesitates and then switches with a thumping bang and goes dead silent, after 5 to 10 mins, engine starts running rough when idle - check engine signs comes on during this process or while I am driving.

I am also using UConnect app on my phone and app has reported, Malfunction Indicator Light:

CAUTION! Prolonged driving with Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL)on could cause damage to the engine control system. It also could affect fuel economy and drive-ability, If the MIL is flashing, severe catalytic Converter damage and power loss will soon occur. Immediate service is required.

WARNING! The app reported: A malfunctioning catalytic converter, as referenced above, can reach higher temps than in normal operating conditions.
