Sebring Jxi Conertible V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 107,000 miles

We bought this vehicle with nearly 100,000 miles on it, great shape for a 2000 compared to anything we looked at, put new tires on and a driver's side door strap/popping sound when opening ( basically a spring for the door) about $165.00 fix at dealer, then the fan for the heat and air condition would only work on high,

One report says to replace the "blower resister", aprox $85.00 fix. I will update file if this works and dealer can give me a concrete dollar amount, maybe a problem they have seen over and over.

Sebring JX 2.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 88,000 miles

I replaced the Blower resistor and it fixed most of the problems. I still have a problem running the fan on the first speed setting. It smells like something is getting too hot. I am told that the blower motor needs to be replaced.

Sebring Convertible V6

We have changed the AC/Heat switch three times now and they keep shorting out. The heater will only blow on high speed. Anyone know why this is?
