Sebring LX 2.7L

about 6 months after buying the car it started to develop cracks on the welt cord on both sides of the top at the fold lines. Dealer offered a new top but obviously had no idea how to put one on. Had to take it back 9 times to try to get it adjusted so it wouldn't leak and would actually go up and down. Chrysler told me to take it to the dodge dealer at the end but they refused saying it was not their problem and they would not take it on. I finally contacted the owner of the dealership and He had me take it to an outside shop that did tops and upholstery. They did the best they could to fix the problem but said it was cut incorrectly when installed and it would never be right. Dealer refused any further fix and Manufacturer said they backed the dealer. BAD SERVICE and a manufacturing defect to begin with.
