problem #1

Dec 182014

Sebring 2.4L

Driving down the road, my vehicle revs up to 3000rpms for no reason, then returns to normal. Check engine light comes on. Take the car into get maintenance done on it. Intake gasket needed to be replaced, timing belt was done at the same time along with tune up. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Two weeks later it happens again. Back to garage we go. They hook it up to computer to find problem. Nothing shows up. Couple weeks later it happens again. Take it back to garage but are told that if the check engine light is not on they cannot diagnose the problem. Frustrating. Has not happened again in past month. Keeping my fingers crossed, but when you commute you want more than just luck. Ya need a reliable, trustworthy vehicle.
