Sebring Hardtop Convertible

  • Automatic transmission
  • 66,000 miles

After a significant rain event, the digital display, gas gauge, turn signal indicators and all warning lights will not work. In addition, the radio will cycle between all bands about every 10 seconds. (AM, FM, CD, SAT, HD, etc) Once the rain stops and the humidity lowers, usually within 1 to 3 days, everything returns to normal, with the exception of the check engine light. It will remain on for another day or so before going out. All other electric functions seem to work normally during the "outage".

Sebring Touring

Purchased the car on 8/20/2015. That same day the horn didn't work and the airbag light was on. Took it back to the dealer the next day and he said I had purchased a warranty on the car so there was nothing he could do. On Saturday 8/22/2015 all the lights on the dashboard started flashing randomly. I called and made an appointment at the Chrysler garage and couldn't get in until 9/1/2015. That's when they said is was a faulty TIPM and that alot of Chrysler cars are having this issue and the cost for repair was $2198.00. My warranty really is useless - it did not cover this repair as it only pays for certain parts.
