Liftgate tended to pop open it on its own. The light inside the dashboard indicated that the liftgate was not open when this occurred. Took vehicle to dealer for a checkup, but the cause was undetermined.

While driving hatchback intermittently opened. No warning light shown before or after the incident. Dealership was notified, reprogramed the lift-gate module did not resolve the problem. A new latch mechanism was installed a week ago and the problem has not re-occurred.
