Drivers side window suddenly started to malfunction; would not go up after rolling it down, or would not stop when button was no longer pressed. Window had to be pulled back up manually. Yesterday, the window suddenly fell into the door. Other complaints about this appear elsewhere on the internet.

The front left window does not work. I have heard that Chrysler vehicles have this problem my nephew's Jeep also had this problem and it is expensive to repair. There must be a defect in the window motor, please advise.

The contact owns a 2005 Chrysler Town and country. The contact stated that she has had to replace the rack and pinion, tie rods, water pump, rear windshield wiper motor, passenger side window motor, and the egr valve. Currently, the axle is failing. The dealer could not determine the cause of the failures; however, they were all covered due to an extended warranty. The VIN, engine size, and number of cylinders were unknown. The failure mileage was 51,000 and current mileage was 55,450.

Driver side power window will not go down right now. Window has been used less than 10 times. I had a previous Town & Country with same problem. When window did go down it would not go back up. It will have to go into the dealer for service.
