Town & Country 6-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 12,387 miles
The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler Town and country. In June of 2007, while driving 40 mph, the entire vehicle and the steering wheel began to shake. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and they stated that the cause of failure was the torque converter. The torque converter was repaired, but the vehicle continues to shake. Daimler Chrysler stated that they would not repair the vehicle again because it was performing as it was designed. The contact stated that the program that sends a signal to the torque converter was defective. The program repeatedly sends the signal, but it does not register. The engine size was unknown. The current mileage was 14,000 and failure mileage was 12,387. Updated 09/12/07
