after recall on ignition switch, you can't self program keys

I went to the dealer for the recall on the ignition switch got 2 new key fobs (no keys for the door or uncut keys)

from them, a week later ordered 4 new keys for backup,, tried the self programing with the two working keys like the owners manual says you can and it don't work,, called Chrysler, and they said the self programming no longer works after the ignition switch recall and I would haft to take it to the dealer,,(and pay for the programming,, $$$$$$$$) so if you go get the recall done your just out of luck,, this really sucks!!!! and if you have more than 2 keys at the time of the recall,, you only get two back.. and pay out the axx for the rest. how can Chrysler do a recall and when you get it back it don't do what it says it will do in the manual, going to cost me hundreds of dollars to get the 4 keys I bought programed, or just eat the cost of me buying the fibik's.. this just sucks.
