The contact owns a 2008 Chrysler Town and country. While driving approximately 40 mph, the contact heard a noise from the front end. The failure had been occurring since May 2010 and was becoming louder with time. The vehicle was taken to a local mechanic who stated that the front wheel bearing needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure mileage was 50,000 and the current mileage was 79,000.

When accelerating, my 2008 Chrysler Town and country sounds like a jet taking off. Took it to my dealer and he said that the wheel bearings are no good. Also told me that there is a recall on wheel bearings for my model year but my van was produced three months after the recall date. How do I convince Chrysler that this is a defect in my car as well and should be included in the recall? this is according to my local Chrysler service manager.

I have a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country van with just 22,000 miles on it and have been told I need new brakes and rotors. I have never had to replace brake pads at this low of mileage. I have heard from others that this is a problem with these vans due to the rotors and brake pads being to small. I feel that Chrysler should be made to recall these vehicles and put adequate brakes on them.
