I fixed this issue myself, all it needed was 2 new wires connected to original wires. The main issue I had with this is that this was caused by employees at the dealership because they are the only ones that have ever checked the air filter. The wires had to be replaced because the hose next to them had been installed incorrectly and had put tension on the wires and were broken over time.
