Pursuant to a recall notice I have tried in vain numerous times since Jun 7, 2015 to get the Chrysler dealer known as adams of annapolis to schedule an appointment. The reason told to me is that they have not received the parts from the manufacturer and to keep checking back with them to see if the parts have arrived. Adams will not take my phone number to tell me when the parts do come in. Moreover, they refuse to return my calls when I try to find out if the parts have come in. The only way I can communicate with them is if I appear in person. I have done so twice and continue to be told what I have described above. I am a handicapped person with a ramp van and find this totally unacceptable which is why I am filing this complaint. In the meantime, I have had the ramp side door open without activating the fobik.

My engine turns of while driving down the road in traffic, losing all power.....my tailgate goes up and down randomly, while parked or driving...can't understand why this doesn't qualify for recall when 600,000 others do. I'm in the same unsafe predicament as they are..

The contact owns a 2010 Chrysler Town and country. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start without warning. The vehicle was taken to a dealer. The technician stated that the vehicle was operating as designed. In addition, the contact stated that the locking device failed to hold the wheelchair in place intermittently. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the wiring harness and the circuit board needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 300.

I was driving my van when the air conditioner quit working, then the power window's would not work, then the power lock's quit working, wiper's quit, plus several other thing's. the inside of the van became very hot as it was a 101 outside and I was afraid to shut the van off and be stranded. The engine continued to work and I drove it to a dealer not from my town who shut van off then restarted it, everything worked. I felt that I and my wife were in a very dangerous situation!!! I also had trouble with it starting several times as well. Itook van to my local dealer who determined that the computer module was bad; after some delay was able to have it fixed. So far van work's ok with a few oddities that I do not deem serious, yet. My local dealer was cooperative but not to forthcoming with info about the situation involving the module. Thank you.
