problem #2

Town & Country Touring Plus V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 34,100 miles

autozone pulled 2 codes camshaft p-0340-p-0344. Since it is a new car I called Chrysler dealer back I waited 2 weeks called again no one returned my call, went back to AutoZone purchased a $125.00 cam sensor replaced it cleared the code. Problem still exists could be faulty wiring or wait a LEMON. Till today every time I cross a rail crossing no matter if I go 5 mph or 20 mph it will result in a check engine light illumination and the ESP light to illuminate then it will show 2 codes P-0340- And A P-0344 Cam sensing, maybe it's a loose timing chain but at 34,000 miles un heard of. Funny thing is it only happens right after a train passes if I go over the tracks and no train passed I get no codes but if the train passes I get codes weird anyway I posted this information just incase others experience the same thing just know you are not alone we are not all crazy.
