I have taken this to Chrysler and called them on several occasions. I had my mechanic look at it and they got the code that popped up when it happened and we gave it to Chrysler. After they called back to tell me that they had the code, which again my mechanic gave them, they wanted me to bring it back to them. I told them that I was going to let my mechanic do the work, he just needed the information about the code.

After that conversation and weeks of calling them and them not returning calls I am stuck with a van that can only be driven during the day. Other than Chrysler just tightening up my battery cables and sending the van back to me saying it was fixed, they have not done anything to resolve this issue. I guess they are waiting for people to die before they do anything.

Here is exactly what happens when lights are being used. When I use the unlock button on my keys the lights flash on and off, when they used to stay on, then when the van is started the lights start to rapidly flash on and off until they finally just go out. You cannot use any type of lights at this point except for your fog lights. Brights do not even work.

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but the recall for the ignition switch is getting stuck again. They have replaced this twice on my van and it looks like it will need it again.
