2012 Chrysler Town & Country. Consumer writes in regards to vehicle brake problems. The consumer experienced a heavy vibration and a roaring sound, when braking from highway speeds. The service dept. Stated the rotors were out-of-round. The service dept. Resurfaced the front and rear rotors. Four months later, the consumer experienced the same issue with the brakes. The service dept. Resurfaced the rear rotors and replaced the rear brakes. Three months later, the consumer experienced the same brake failure. The serviced recommended all new rotors, front and back. However, the consumer declined the repair. The service dept replaced the rotors at no charge, but the consumer had to pay for the parts.

2012 Chrysler Town & Country. Consumer writes in regards to rear brake problems. The consumer stated the problem was the rear brakes wearing out before or at the same time as the front brakes. The rear calipers failed and caused the rear pads to become metal-to-metal and locked up the rotors. Updated 10/01/14
