The horn and cruise control stopped working and the airbag light came on. It would not pass inspection. It happend while in motion and stationary. They said that the clock spring was broken and needed to be replaced. There is a recall on the 1996-1998 models for the broken clockspring but not the 2001. I see lots of comments that this is an issue beyond those model years included in the recall. They need to extend the recall beyond 1998 since this is an issue with more than those 2 years!
