not sure how to reset srs lite, disconnecting neg batt cable for 10min, reconnecting didn't solve problem. Dealer wants $ to look/reset.

Update from Nov 9, 2010: Generic ODBII readers don't seem to have a way of resetting a specific code like within the SRS ECU. (correct, as OEM/manufacturer/dealer readers $5-6K can)

Dealer (and another independent garage) said only they could reset this specific code / warning light/alarm verify that the system is/is not armed, and verify that SRS ECU (airbag computer) is fine to work after reset alarm condition. Had the dealer reset the code / alarm (before this, my car was left in airbag system 'disabled') and verifiy airbags ready and back to normal. Surprised that it 'only' cost $100 to ensure the airbag system would work in a frontal impact accident. Safety is well worth the $100 spent!
