Avenger RT

I have a Dodge Avenger RT V6. I have been having so many problems with this car in the last year. The heat on the passenger side blows cold air when the heat is on, it only works on the drivers side and I can't defrost my windows on the passenger side at all. It is very dangerous and my air stopped working on both sides and I keep putting Freon in it all the time just to keep air in it. I live in Florida and I need the air.

I have not taken it in yet because I have been readying all the same problem people are having with their cars… I have called to see if this is a recall and they say it is not and I can't believe that it isn't the cause of so many people having the same issue. I call the NHTSA 888-327-4236 and they didn't seem to help at all. I have already put so much money in this car because of the car just kept dying on me and I am still trying to figure that out. The mechanic I have paid over 2500.00 to still has not fixed it, but that is another whole problem.

Please let me know on this heating issue what I should do because I can not afford to spend more money getting the heat fixed and the air fixed when I haven't even got a mechanic to fix the other problem that they can't figure out.

There needs to be a recall on this problem. It heats on the right side vents, but not on the right side. The right side puts out cold air.

Heater not working on passenger side, it's been this way for several years. I cannot pay the $1000 to get it fixed. I will never buy a Chrysler again. I feel Chrysler should make this right. Cannot use car on cold days, which we have plenty of in my state. Please help with this problem.

LOOKS LIKE A LOT OF VEHICLES ARE HAVING THIS ISSUE. Called Chrysler told me to take to dealer for wallet gouging. Not going to!
