Avenger SXT 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 95,000 miles

So my car went in the shop for a failed (TCM) TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (P0882) car went in last week and I finally got my car back on Friday... WELL.... within 24 hours and less than 100 miles later the engine light is back on and car went into "limp mode" AGAIN.... Brought it to have code scanned and SURPRISE it's the same exact code and part (P0882)... I'm told it may be the connection to the unit that the module is housed in BUT I paid the auto shop $125 to diagnose the issue and they were obviously wrong! My car went back into the shop today with no resolution as of yet... this aught to be interesting... This is an apparent new issue relating to a relaively new car so there isn't much of this problem out there happening just yet to compare to...

Avenger SXT 3.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 40,389 miles

My engine light was on and the car was surging while driving. A mechanic said it was a faulty 02 sensor. He changed it, the light went out and it came back on 3 blocks away. Took it to Ponoka Chryler, they also said it was an 02 sensor. There are 4 altogether. They changed a different one. The car stopped surging and the engine light came back on the next day and has been on ever since. I cannot remotely start the car.

light comes on randomly and runs bad barely get to 40 mph

this is problem #2 with this vehicle engine light comes on randomly and when it does it runs bad and gets to 3 rpms and then quickly drops to 2rpms and barely goes 40mph and you never know when its coming on so not able to drive vechicle due to this. plus my first complaint one headlight dont work, one turn signal dont work and brake lights dont work. contacted chrysler what a joke no help poor customer service will never buy or recommend a dodge or chrysler product ever. if they cannot sell good quality products close the business there are so many complaints and lawsuits against them. I just want rid of the piece of $--t but owe too much on it so paying for an expensive lawn ornament so pissed.
