Avenger 6-cyl

  • 64,000 miles
The temperature actuator behind the glove box has been replaced 3 times because of clicking and not controlling air temperature. We just replaced it again and I have hot air on the drivers side and middle vent and cold air on the other middle vent and passengers side (very uncomfortable for the driver). Safety concern when defrost is needed. Passenger side defrosts but drivers side gets worse and causes a hazard for driving. I am a college student who commutes to school every morning and this has created close calls for accidents because I am having to lean over to the passenger side to see. We have tried to find more information online and many other cars of this model are having this same issue. We do not know what to to fix this problem it seems to be a manufacturing flaw. My car has a little over 64,000 miles and this is an ongoing issue.
