Avenger SE

  • Automatic transmission
  • 185,237 miles

My car randomly started to overheat constantly. It would only overheat if I was accelerating tho, not when I was in idle or keeping a steady speed. Checked the fluids and my coolant was low so I filled it up to the appropriate amount. 3 weeks later my car is overheating again and the only way to cool it down when I'm on the highway is to turn on the heater full blast in my car. Annoying since right now the temperature outside is in the low to mid 90's...

Plastic coolant tank leaking at seam where the two plastics meet. It has slow leak that is leaking coolant. Only fix is to replace the plastic coolant tank.
