problem #4

Nov 252013

Caliber 4D 4 cylinder

  • Automatic transmission
  • 106,450 miles

So I had already needed to get the front right replaced on 2/11/13 then on 11/25/13 had to get two more new tires. So I only got approx 11,709 miles off of the front tires. It is not actually a tire issue, it is because the front end goes bad all the time

Caliber 4D 4 cylinder

  • Automatic transmission

Had to replace and they did a rotation and respin on my front right tire so I only got 17,118 miles off of that tire.

problem #2

Feb 162012

Caliber 4D 4 cylinder

  • Automatic transmission
  • 77,623 miles

Tires constantly go bad. I had bought new tires 1/22/10 and then had to buy new tires again 2/18/12 so I only got approx 37,769 miles off of my tires I got in 2010 and yet again this is due mostly to the front end problems, eats the tires

Caliber SE

  • Automatic transmission
  • 130,000 miles

I HAVE RELIGIOUSLY HAD TO REPLACE MY TIRES EVERY 40,000 TO 45,000 MILES REGARDLESS OF THE TYPE OF TIRE I BOUGHT. THE LAST TIME I PAID THE EXTRA MONEY AND GOT 75,000 MILE TIRES, AND AM AT 42,000 MILES AND THEY NEED TO BE REPLACED. IN SPEAKING THE AN AUTOMOTIVE SHOP TO REPLACE MY TIRES WAS TOLD THAT THEY CALL THE CALIBER A "TIRE EATER". I WAS TOLD THAT NO MATTER WHAT TYPE OF TIRE I BUY I WILL BE LUCKY IF I GET 50,000 MILES OUT OF THEM.

SO ON TOP OF HAVING JUST ABOUT EVERY SUSPENSION PROBLEM POSSIBLE WITH THIS CAR NICKLE AND DIMING ME, I HAVE THE ADDED BONUS OF HAVING TO BUY TIRES MORE OFTEN THAN THAT OF THE AVERAGE VEHICLE.
