Limp mode, as reported on several sites. Many people report repairing a splice in the wiring loom but no one has given the exact location of the splice or the color of the wires in including tracer color. I have found several different splices but don't know which one I should check, and since there is some very special coating on these splices I don't want to just start cutting and grinding coating off. I picked up another wiring loom to tear apart and get a good look at it (out of a 98 SE same engine and trans, but it was different color of wires in the same places). I have a Haynes manual but the wiring diagram is for a 4 sp trans where mine is a 31TH 3 sp. I have not been able to find a "factor" wiring diagram. Vehicle is in beautiful shape and since it will probably be the last vehicle I will own. I would like to find the answer to this problem.
