Vehicle was taken to the dealership three times for the windshield wiper switch to be repaired. The wipers would come on when the left turn signal was used. Over time the problem got progressively worse. Letter was forwarded to NHTSA by cpsc.

The windshield wipers come on by themselves. This can occur at any time, and sometimes, but not always, is triggered by the turn signal switch.

Windsheild wipers stop functioning in the middle of the winsheild. The wipers start functioning again after I operate the switch again, but they start and stop continiously. I have had the multi-function switch replaced (proven not-defective as per dealer), and the failure still persists. In fact, it seems that every Caravan owner I speak to has the same problem.
