Caravan V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 96,000 miles

Our Caravan started slipping gears and bumping. We took it to our mechanic and found out a seal was leaking. We paid $1500 to have the transmission rebuilt. Now after 6 months, the problem has happened again. Luckily we are covered under warranty for a year. But I am wondering if this could happen again after another 6 months when it isn't covered under warranty. I have owned Dodge vehicles all my life and this is the first one that has had a transmission problem.

Caravan SE 3.3L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 83,000 miles

The transmission was losing fluid and that was causing the transmission to slip. I got that replaced after having the transmission flushed out and a new filter replaced. Since it was causing the transmission to slip as i was driving..
