The contact owns a 2013 Dodge challenge. The contact stated that the front driver side door window opened and closed intermittently causing the battery to fail. The contact stated that when the failure first occurred, the vehicle was taken to atlantic Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram dealer, (555 sunrise hwy, West islip, NY 11795, (631) 422-0123) where the door latch module was replaced. However, the repair did not correct the failure. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer and was not repaired. The failure recurred three times. The contact stated that he had to go through the trunk to disconnect the battery. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to NHTSA. The failure mileage was approximately 100,668.
