When I got the car it was making a crunching noise on moderate acceleration and banging on hard acceleration. It also used 3 sets of tires in 20,000 miles. I took it to my mechanic and they said it sounded like the bushings were bad but they didn't know which ones so I took it to Sport Durst Dodge of Durham NC and they diagnosed it for $89 as the k frame bushings and gave me an estimate for repairs at $1689, they also said I needed front and rear rotors, and pads ($410), and that the bad bushings were effecting the alignment.

Then did some research and bought high quality k frame bushings on my own for $180, not the junk OEM ones and had my mechanic install them for $595. Then I had an alignment done at a tire shop to fix the tire wear for $79.
