Charger 6-cyl

  • 3,000 miles
I recently rented a 2010 Dodge Charger with power seats. None of the adjusting buttons are marked. At the front side corner of the seat is a toggle button. While driving the vehicle; I moved this button to adjust the seat which I thought was logical. This button has nothing to do with the power seats. This button when activated raises and lowers the gas pedal position and brake pedal position. It can be activated while the vehicle is in motion. The result of this is that the acceleration and braking can be increased or decreased unexpectedly. I believe this to be a design flaw that could result in a serious accident. At the least; it should not be possible to move these pedals while the vehicle is in motion. No accident resulted; but it is very disorienting at highway speed.
