The auxiliary fuel pump fail and leaked into the rear right hand passenger compartment. I have spoken to the dealer and manufacture and no one is willing to help with the very big fire hazard. The leak happens when the car is filled with fuel and the tank has ore the half a tank of fuel.

The contact owns a 2011 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that there was a strong odor of fuel outside and inside the vehicle, but no presence of an external leak. The dealer (benson Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, 400 w wade hampton blvd, greer, SC 29650, (864) 877-0161) diagnosed that both fuel pumps needed to be replaced after inspecting that there was a crack on one of the two fuel pumps. The dealer also informed the contact that the rear seat padding was saturated with fuel, which leaked into the rear interior of the vehicle. The dealer replaced the driver and passenger side fuel pumps. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was not available. Consumer stated car was repaired but still had a strong gas odor. Updated 11/20/18

I have had to replace my tires every 9 months and rotate them every 3 weeks. Finally, I asked my tire shop why. He said the way this Dodge Charger was built, the tires are at an angle so they wear unevenly, which also makes it wear faster. I thought I was being fed a story, so I took it somewhere else. The told me the same exact thing. This is very expensive and dangerous. I'm just waiting for a tire to blow out on the highway.
