Charger R/T V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 23,756 miles

Two days after buying the car, it is raining and all of a sudden there is no FM or AM reception. Take the car into the dealer and am told it needed an update and is fixed. It seems okay, then it rains again. This time I figure out the reception is tied to the rear defrost being turned on. Call the dealer and tell them what happened and he wants me to wait because.....the car does not recognize the SD card and they will fix it at the same time. Now the reception is fuzzy intermittently regardless of defroster or weather.

Has anyone had this issue and how was it resolved? I'm still waiting two weeks later and nothing from the dealer...

Charger R/T 5.7L Hemi

  • Automatic transmission
  • 0 miles

We purchased a Charger R/T in October of 2013 and the satellite radio never worked properly. We contacted Dodge customer service and they were useless, only confirming that yes indeed there was a problem with the radio. In a new vehicle, Dodge would only offer to replace the unit with a refurbished one and that didn't work at all. The dealer promised to perform an antenna check and never did and promised to open a dealer case directly with Dodge and never followed up.

Dodge has really angered my wife and me. I would never recommend their brand to anyone, nor would I ever buy another Dodge charger.
