Dakota Laremie 4.7L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 80,000 miles

We have had this vehicle for 3 months now and since day one its been acting up. I was a Dodge lover and now I really regret buying this POS. No one seems to know what the problem is and I'm tired of spending more money to attempt to get it fixed.

Dakota V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 175,000 miles

This is a Dakota, not a full size truck, not a 4x4, and with the V8 it will pass anything on the highway.... Well, except the gas station. It takes $20 of full every other day to take my son to school, a total of under 30 miles, each day. The factory paper work lists it at 16 hwy. I'd smile if it was even close. Dodge did a horrible job giving MPG estimates.

Dakota SLT V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 39,000 miles

My 2005 Dodge Dakota gets 9 mpg of gas, the rpm's rev and there is no pick up. Which is very dangerous when driving on the highway. I brought my vehicle to the Dodge dealership and a private mechanic, they tested it diagnostically and nothing came up as being wrong with it. Dodge suggested a tune up for $350.00. My truck is 2 years old it has 39,000 miles on it. I should not need a tune up!!!
