Ok. So we have had the car back less than 3 months since the engine failure and just got our oil changed on 12/4/2019. Today 12/6/2019, the Park light out alert went off. Now, this light is a little tiny bulb on the driver's side. Replacing it requires removal of the wheel in order to access the panel under the wheel well. But what the makers of this car in their infinite wisdom decided to do was to link this stupid little light's sensor to the brake pedal. Now, if this was a headlamp, brake light, or turn signal out, this would be understandable. HOWEVER, the turn signal still works, so there is still a visible indication of my intent to turn. Why would you make it so that every press of the brake panel stops all music in the car, to alert that this light is out! Of all the issues with this car, this one is going to be the one that drives me to my breaking point. I drive 87 miles each way, into Washington DC traffic. On the way in alone this alert went off around 500 times, and this was in low traffic. I suspect that my commute home will bring that to around 10k times at least. Even when the car was overheating the alerts did not make this much of an indication. I HATE THIS CAR!!!!!!
