Durango Crew V6

I purchased this car brand new. Nothing but problems. It is a nice smooth riding car, except for all the issues and recalls!!! I only have 68000 miles on it and its been to the shop more than any other vehicle Ive owned, used included. First was the TIPM car stalled would not start had that replaced, next alternator, had that replaced, next engine the V6 engine specifically, couldn't pass smog here in CA, took it to Dealer, they had my car a good 3 weeks, replaced cylinder heads, rings, gaskets all kinds of stuff, got extended warranty on engine for 150,000 miles because of the issue with this engine. Now, a burning smell coming from vents I guess. I thought it was from outside, cause no engine lights or heating up or warning lights come on. Well today a blast of white smoke from the vent, garage door opener not working, and little electrical things going on...going to have to take back into dealer. One thing I can say is that whenever I have had any problems, the dealer has taken care of and fixed all the situations, so far with no cost too me....I love the way my car drives, feels, handles the road, its just all these issues at such low milage sucks!!!

Update from Jul 6, 2017: ok today driving and drivers side headliner starts blowing out smoke...some kind of electrical fire. Had it towed at my expense to dealership. Windshield wipers will not turn off now as well as blue tooth not working, lift gate randomly opens and closes. Its at dealership now, waiting to hear the Diagnosis....It is very inconvenient as this is my only vehicle and I have to go to and from work....We paid a lot of money for this car and for it to be in the shop so often because of recalls is too much

Update from Jan 31, 2018: This particular incident was due to a recall of sun visors due to wiring. They replaced my wiring harness that got burnt up as well as headliner and battery . It was in the shop for a good 8 weeks.
