electrical casing on side slide door fell apart door unusable

I am listing this problem now without my paperwork in front of me but I do remember that when my side door wiring harness broke, every time we opened or close the side door the more the wiring harness got damaged and finally we kept the door close despite being a family of 7... which made it extremely irritating and costly since it hadn't been put all recall list until I had it repaired...

I need to get my repair bill refunded since I am fully disabled and am trying to support a family of 7 while on Workers' Compensation...
