Grand Caravan ES 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 58,500 miles

Took van to dealer again for the transmission clunking problem when shifting from reverse to drive. Since dealer could not duplicate last time, I asked that someone drive it back & forth from home for a couple of days to see if they can duplicate the problem.

Grand Caravan SE 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 10,000 miles

Started making a clunking noise (can also be felt as the van jerks when this happens) last year somewhere between 8,000-10,000 miles. I knew it was a problem, but let it go as the noise was inconsistent. The clunking has progressively gotten worse. The noise and jerk felt are both more pronounced. I only just made an appointment for next week to have the problem resolved. I'll check back after the repair in complete.
