Intrepid 2.7L V6

  • Automatic transmission

Well my check engine light came on and it wouldn't shift. It would just rev higher and higher in first gear without shifting. I drove it slowly to the mechanic. I had to replace the computer that cost over $400. Also, sepearate beefs that I will mention here is that the housing for the interior driver door handle broke and the car wouldn't open from the inside. Repair cost:$250. Also, the drivers window motor had to be repalced $30?

Transmission computer, wiring harness, everything electronic fried out at 76,000 miles. Same car that had engine blow up after oil pump failure. You can't sell a car with 10 check engine codes on it. Must fix and keep or take a major loss the on trade in price ($550 Vs $5,000).
