Intrepid ES 2.7

  • Automatic transmission
  • 48,000 miles

at 48000 miles front end started making noise and the right front tire was showing unusual wear they had to replace almost all front suspension pieces including the front strut bearings. I did notice the car seemed to sit higher much like it did when it was first purchase it must have sagged as the bushings wore over time

I bought this car in January 2003 only after 9 months of driving (highway only). I started to hear a knocking noise coming from front left wheel well. Took it in and dealer changed front left stabaliser bar bracket and bushings and replaced the mounting screws; under warranty of coarse. Yet since the reparation every 15 000 kms or so I got to go back to the dealer to change the damn thing again. One time the left bracket the other time the right bracket etc... this went on and on and is still going on!!! I have 76 000 kms on the vehicle and it still making the noise. Thank God I bought the extended warranty!!
