Started in 2016 with horn/car alarm going off for no reason, thought it was battery in key fobs, had changed, no problem with horn for awhile, was picking up grandchild from school, battery died, jumped car and got it home, took car to have battery checked ... battery was deemed bad , horn/car alarm still going off, removed horn fuses, took car home till end of month, limited monthly income, replaced battery at end of month, December 30, 2016, left car at home went out of town to see a movie, came home and alarm was going off, found out it had been going off entire time gone, since hours, came home removed fuses again. Started researching online found out an issue with Journey was the TIPM, and one of the causes from a bad TIPM is the horn going off, another symptom is the starter issue which had been ochurning as well where the car wouldn'the start initially . The car was towed to dealer, their diagnosis is a bad TIPM .... Approximately $1100 to replace ...
